I have a Question??? I keep hearing about eating mudbugs?? We dont have much mud here in Arizona too hot and dry. But in the sand we have bugs such as Rattlebugs scorpions tarantulas and such and they arent edible, they all bite and most poisinous. Does the mud make bugs edible???

Another Question?? Here in Arizona we have alot of road gators and ya really gotta watch out for them. You hit one of these cruising down the road and it can easily cause you to wreck. Well i keep hearing about alley gators in Louisiana?? Why would you be riding in the alleys instead of the road??? Is the group ride gonna be cruising the alleys??

I know that there is a lot of bad things out in the desert regions of the southwest and most of them will either bite you or has thorns that either stick you or grab hold of you and won't let you go, but that big, black, harry legged tarantula is not to be feared like the other two spiders pictured.  They are poisonous and he is not...JTL

hmmmm, I may have to rethink my menu.  Of course you know that most cajuns just toss whatever in the pot.... so you just might need to brings some of those spiders & snakes for my black pot!

Kendall: I once spent a weekend at Hawley Lake on the Apache reservation. We caught a small pot of mudbugs and cooked them that night; right here in good old AZ.
