The original cb can be found, but expensive.  I just put a JM 2003cb on a standard.  The mikes are always on. But, they are very good.  Unless one talks, there is basically no noise there.  I really like the setup.  If you find you do not like always on, mic-mutes.com has a switch to put in there to make it push to talk.

That's going to be a little difficult to accomplish on an I/S, given the fact that the stereo control setup occupies the area which is normally used by the -2003. Unfortunately, their design is set up for a left-side-only mounting scheme...  Angry

Big Mike (of Valk Bling) offers a (new) CB he modifies so it will work with the IS radio controls.  He has done over 60 of them.  Not cheap, but cheaper than most used Evilbay auctions.  Mike is a very good guy.

The CB radio Big Mike converts is the Yamaha Royal Venture CB.  It is a Clarion, the same as the Valkyrie's.  The conversion is lengthening the power cord.  All other connections are the same as the Valkyrie and all the Valkyrie's controls will work.  There are several of the Yamaha CBs for sale on EBAY.

I got lucky on eBay a couple of weeks ago.  Picked up one of the Yamaha units that will work with the interstate controls for $50.

Would you have the part # of that particular model of the Yamaha unit?  I want to make sure that I'm looking for the right one.

Thanks.
