Although I can't be there tonight, I would like to nominate Godfire for a new office, Ambassador to Yankee Land for the Texas Chapter of the VRCC or Texas Chapter Representative for Yankee Land.

Any seconds? cooldude cooldude

With a minor mod, I second it:  Texas VRCC ambassador to yankee land.

Something about that sounds very wrong.

WHAT, you have never had french fries with country gravy!
Back in the day...........The Rathskeller in Pampa had the biggest best tasting chicken fried steak. He would take a real Round steak and tenderize it. Made the steak about as big as our plates at home.  Then he would fry up enough fries to cover the turkey platter he served the mess on.  If you asked, he would cover the steak and fries with great tasting country cream gravy. I think he put the drippings from the steak in the gravy.
You just can't find that anymore.
I just ate and now I think I am hungry again!   Grin
