Is it wrong that when watching this Train-Wreck of a reality series... that I root for the Japanese whalers?

Those Sea Shephards are real A-Holes!

Not that I condone the whaling... but their tactics are criminal IMO.

I felt that way too till I recently watched a whole series of whale wars.    They are not like the Greenpeace idiots that are trying save the world, they are only trying to stop Japanese ILLEGAL WHALING.    there is an international ban on killing whales out of season, EXCEPT FOR RESEARCH.  In the Whale War Series the Japanese are whaling year round taking 3 whales a day (that is what the mother ship can process) and they are claiming it to be in the name of RESEARCH.....yeah right.

Jabba,

Are you saying that you are not a PETA person?
Maybe the Japanese whalers could just use bazookas and mortars to eliminate those pesky animal rights people.

Besides how would we get the whale oil for our lanterns?

I'm defineatly not a PETA person.......I'm surprised they Japanese don't get more violent being as it costs them millions when the Whale War guys shut them down.    It already is pretty violent....when you start bashing multi multi multi million dollar ships  into each other it gets pretty violent.  And besides.....I got electricity at my house.

Yeah... I agree.  If I was the Jap guys... I'd be more aggressive.  Or I'd be putting A LOT of political pressure on the US to shut those guys down, and lock them up.

I don't like what they are doing, but I don't like the Sea Shephards. TERRORIST tactics either.

If I was them... I'd be shooting stink bombs back at the Sea Shepherds.  And dropping prop foulers ALL the time when they are trailing me.

when watching the Whale Wars I've often wondered why the Japanese don't rig up something that would get in their prop......like a steel cable with floats that would hold the cable just under the surface......gotta be a reason.  I guess they would be afraid of retaliation on their props.

The "warriors" have tried prop foulers on the Japanese. These clowns are pirates. They only fall short as they dont take the ship. Their little black boat looks evil. Batmobile cool ,but evil none the less.
This show has nothing really to offer. After some viewing it seems that its just another day of filming dorks messing with the whalers. Shure its wrong on both sides.
Jabba, I'll send you a lamp that burns kerosene.
