Does anyone know if the Front Section of an OEM 1996 Standard Valk seat will fit a 1999 interstate?  I am looking for a solo seat.

Yes it'll fit. It'll be a lttle tight at the gas tank but it'll fit.  A 2000 standard  or tourer and later models  are a little softer seat than the early years. About 80 bucks from HDL.
