I looked down at the left radiator pod, and where the air wing bolt goes through, there's a crack that runs out to the aft edge of that pod panel.
Does Honda, (Ron Ayers) still sell these? I looked at the parts fiche and they give a price for them.
I'm going to pull the cover and stop-drill the crack if it goes past the bolt hole, and reinforce it with some fiberglass tape to keep it from spreading.
Any advice or information on availability of this part, appreciated.

It should still be available, but won't be cheap. You might be able to find a used one on ebay, classifieds, etc.

A few people have been having the same issue lately it seems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed mine don't crack!

I think my kids snagged the air wing walking by it in the garage. Thanks for the help.

When I saw the other post about this problem the other day, I went to check mine and found a small crack starting. My bike is black, so it didn't show too much. I removed and disassembled the pods, then took a piece of aluminum that I had in the garage and shaped it to fit the inside of the pod to provide a much stiffer support for the Bakers. I installed the reinforcements inside each pod with JB weld and the 2 screws holding the Bakers now go through the reinforcements. When re-assembled, nothing shows and I have good confidence that it will help prevent the pods cracking. Keep an eye on your pods. I think that your kids might not be at fault. It seems a lot of IS owners that have the Bakers on are having the problem. The weather not being very warm around here, removing the Bakers was not an option for me as I love the work they do. That's why I went with the reinforcements.

Idid the same thing on mine I had two cracks in my right pod. I took the whole thing apart and after taping the outside up tight with duct tape to close the cracks. I then sanded the underside to rough it up.I applied a healthy layer of JB Weld with screen wire as reinforcement to the underside of the whole top area. I let it set overnight and if I didn't show you where the cracks were you'ld never know they were there.
