CheapCycleParts.Com - Warning Notice

I am just posting a general notice about poor service from CheapCycleParts.com.

I placed an order with them for a few parts for a friend about 3 weeks ago, I have still not received my parts and on every attempt to contact them, I have been frustrated with their service or told that it was taken care of only to find out that it wasn't any closer to being fulfilled.

My story...I placed an order online with them online. My order consisted of small parts also...screws...handlebar lock,...and pumpkin breather cap...order total $28.57 including shipping. The transaction did not go through due to an error on their site...but my credit card was charged for the transaction. It took me a week of calling every day to finally get that straightened out. When it was finally straight...they told me my parts were in stock and that my order was being shipped. That was two weeks ago. The website shows the status as "On Order". I sent them an email two days ago and never got a response from them.

I called them today with full intentions of canceling my order with them. When I asked the status of my order they told me that my order was shipped out on the Sept 13th and Sept 15th. When I asked for a reason why I was it took so long for my parts to go out, they informed me that they are just a distributing warehouse. All parts had to be ordered from their parts suppliers...and "that is why we can keep their prices so low". I was also told that they were having major problems with their ordering system and that thousands of orders have been messed up.

Due to this poor customer service and lack of communication, I will never order anything from CheapCycleParts again...the last month's of frustrations is not worth the couple of dollars I may save by using them.
