We will be in the Reno, NV area about a week from today and was wondering if any of you nice folks can recommend a good, clean, cheap, biker friendly motel in the general area.  Winnemucca would also work, as we will be on the way to Eugene, OR.  TIA, Stan

In Reno you can get a good price at most of the casinos as long as no events are going on in the area.  The problem you have is that next week is Street Vibrations.  There will be about 30,000 extra bikes in town and rooms will not be discounted.  That being said Expedia is showing rooms for Thursday at about 60 per night and Friday at 75.  Most of the casinos have parking garages with security.

If you look in the more "seedy" areas you may find one that rents by the hour. Grin
