Hey guys the wife want's to go to lake George for a few days for our 25thy anniversry.  Can anyone recommend a very nice place to stay?  I told her only if can go on the bike and she said that is what she was thinking.  Man I must be dreaming because after our trip to WV and those twisty roads i figured she was done for the season but hey I'll take it cooldude

Wife is partial to B&B joints - so each Americade we stay at this most awesome place in Glens Falls (10 minute ride to Lake George). Rooms are amazing. The guy is a chef and makes breakfasts out of this world. They are 'bike-friendly' too; have stuff to wash your bike, if needed.
I was leery of Bed & Breakfast places, but this one converted me.

I would try the Canoe Island Lodge in Diamaond Point. We were there this July and loved it. cooldude

You may want to check out the Snowy Mountain Inn on rt.30 in INDIAN LAKE. The cabins are clean and the food is great. It's about 40 mi. from Lake George
RT. 30 is a great MC road from Sacandaga to Indian Lake. We were up there a few weeks ago, by now the trees should be showing some color.
