We plan on headin' out for The Snake and The Motorcycle Playground tomorrow. I seem to never get the time right that we'll be at Shady Valley,Tennessee however somewhere around 1:00 would be close  Undecided  Anyone wanting to hook up can meet us in Clinton, Tennessee in the morning or at Shady Valley around 1:00 we'll more than likely make a loop on the playground and do lunch in Mountain City, Tennessee.

As usual, keep an eye out for the LEO's. I don't think they're as bad this year,
but they're still making their presence known. Stormed here last night...might
be a few twigs and gravels in the curves!!

Thanks for the heads up Bob...As for myself I'm hoping after seeing Gordon's ( Lucky 13 ) vicious high side last sunday on Cherohala Skyline that I " WILL "  slow my ass down.

Nah, we won't, just be little bit more careful, spirited not crazy is a good motto Joe.

Draggin a few pegs is OK.

I say... take the bag rails off.  Make 'em go the way of the center stand...  Those things will kill a guy!

It was'nt the rails that caught the pavement on Gordon's high-side it was the mounting hardware for the saddlebags ( the chrome saddlebag guard ) .I've replaced both my engine and saddlebag guards for scraping them across the asphalt . What got Lucky 13 was he hit hard enough to unload the  suspension and when the weight returned to the wheel it was'nt a good thing  Shocked

Oh, I thought someone said it was the bag rail.  I was joking mostly anyway.  Me... I try not to ride THAT hard, and the first thing to drag for me is my feet.  Thay are so big... 14EEE that they drag instead of my pegs.  It never fails to unnerve me when they do either.  Maybe I am a pussy, but I don't ride hard enough to drag very often.  When I do... I am usually going pretty slow.

As stated above I'm hoping something good come out of Gordon's crash and that I leaned something from it.I was right behind him and just knew that it busted him up or killed him it was that violent of a crash. I was amazed when he got up. Gordon has had back surgery years ago and has pins and screws in his lower back from working in a metal fab shop most of his life pulling and lifting steel. My friend is lucky and Lucky 13 is a handle he can wear like a badge now....14EE WOW  Shocked ...Big Foot lives  Wink

 Jabba,  14EEE  Roll Eyes

Light weight! Try 15EE. 16 in some.  Wink

Just kidding, but I know exactly what you mean by boots dragging first. I don't drag them often, but when I do it is a little un-nerving.

Or a better Motto is don't chase down crotch rockets.

Which is why he was going that fast anyway.

And then there was that deer. LOL

Crotch Rockets.

Sure Glad we still have that Big Heart and Good Soul called Gordon, Lucky 13 is the right name.

I think from that lick he took he is two inches taller now, just a rumor.

I offered to let him ride Bitch to the Snake but as you would expect he said no.

Another good point is he had Insurance and he is now looking for another Black or whatever color

Valkyrie.
