You know, "Bronson" was not really a very well done TV show. It was "Route 66" with two fewer wheels and one fewer characters, but I loved the show and never missed an episode. Hell, I even bought Michael Parks' album.

I thought I was buying a box set of Route 66 once, but it turned out to be a poorly labeled tin of a documentary of the same name. Cool. But not what I was looking for. Bronson is also essentially "Incredible Hulk" without Lou Ferrigno, swapping in M. Parks for the B.Bixby character. It is a fairly straight forward tv show with minimal stunts or special effects, but it does have a certain charm. Honestly, if one of the networks would put together a bus with a camera position mounted on the top, grab a motorcycle of any kind, and follow some simple scripts and episodic adventures around the country today I'd probably still watch it. Sitcoms and reality TV is getting on my nerves. It is time for a simple road show. I'm only a marginal fan of Sons of Anarchy, and will probably only casually glance at 1% if Barger doesn't get it shut down. But a nice simple road and adventure show would be great. Film it all on location! Show off the nation! That has to be good for tourism.

I thinks Sons Of Anarchy sucks, if only because its a glorification of a criminal enterprise. Given that "Then Came Bronson" was a some what cheesy '60 show, it was great! I mean it came out before "Easy Rider". Just a decent man on the road on two wheels. Please do not mention "The Incredible Hulk" My son has EVERY episode on DVD and watches them non stop from St. Pats Day until they are done (It's a green thing).
