I’d say you two stay angry at each other and bring it on at the bar!! That way I can enjoy the fall colors, and a bar fight in the same day!!

We will go there next summer on a ride and have a GREAT time. I don't think we will have any bar fights over the kickstand pads. email sent to Kaz last night. will keep everyone posted.

it's right were the mississippi dumps into the st. croix, or vise versa.... there's a thin sliver of land. not hard to find, right off the road (hwy 10 i think) is a parking lot. we'll find it..... it is on the MN side BTW.

ALPH, You are correct on the location. Its at the confluence of the ST.Croix and Mississippi rivers. west bank of the ST.Croix about 300 yards west of the draw bridge.

they're saying 81 and sunny for saturday!!! I didn't expect that! It's almost too hot... but I'm not going to complain! See you guys Saturday. And for fun, here are some pics taken last summer at Hansen's Holdup. It's a great biker stop that I'm looking forward to visiting again next summer.

I' dont think My info is wrong. However Lets stop thrashin on Ebony's post an take it up elsewhere if that is yor dream.
Look at the photo! It is asphalt. I have been there 4 times, never any trouble. One hot day he told me to use the pad. I can understand not wanting $15,000 worth of asphalt with holes in it. Also, with bikes parked close together, some lawyer would sue him if one sank in, tipped over on another bike, and damaged it. Like Trynt said, if using a pad is a deal killer, so be it. I enjoy the spot. The food is good. The scenery is great. MP

That spot wiht the "no dogs" sign is now a burnout pit. You get a free t-shirt or something if you use it.

Alph, my neighbor (Vic), and I will all be riding down together. We'll be the guys on a red and black IS, a blue and silver IS, and a black standard with big, goofy grins on our faces. Looking forward to meeting and riding with you guys in this beautiful weather tomorrow!

Just got back in from the ride-- what a great time it was. The weather couldn't have been better and we had a nice sized group (I believe somebody said 18 bikes??). This was the first Valk group ride for my neighbor, and I think he had a blast. I know he is convinced he needs more bling on his standard! It was great meeting you all. It's impossible to find a group of Valkyrie riders that aren't great to be around. I look forward to riding with you all again in the spring!

I think it might have been 18 valks, plus several other bikes.
Great seeing every one out. and I mean everyone. Wow what 80+ degrees on an October day does for bike traffic. I have never seen so many bikes in one day just because it was nice out.
Thanks Jerry for setting up the ride and getting me off the couch.
Henry

It was a great ride. 26 bikes in all at the peak. I guess I didn't differentiate between Valks and others. It was nice to put a face to names here. Thanks Jerry! Thanks Cathy!
