I just ordered a rear tire for my bike from Jake Wilson I saved $37.00 from HDL.
Price matching is fine, but HDL should have had a better price from the start.

They don't price match, they price beat. They whooped Jake Wilson's prices by... I forget how much now...
on the Metzelers I got recently.

I priced a rear Avon today at Dennis Kirk: $169.99, free delivery.

But if I buy it, who will install it?

Hey Bill,

Did you get another Avon? Probably a Cobra this time, right?

I have had great luck with Bike Bandit. Last Metzler for the H-D was free shipping, plus they give me a 10% added discount for being an AMA member. Smiley

Pete,

Yes, I am replacing the old tire with the same Avon Cobra. I got 16,000 miles on the last Avon rear tire.

Ken will charge you about $27 if you take the wheel off your bike and the new tire to him.

Ask them to match the price. No harm in asking.

Of course you could put a CT on and save a few $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$   Evil  Grin Evil
