So I bought a hondaline CB and antenna from a guy, and he didn’t have the original antenna mount.  Being the person that I am, I made one and I was wondering who else would like one.  Here’s what mine looks like.  Yes, I know my paint job sucks, something about me and paint don’t go together.

What would you pay for one???  if i get enough made, maybe someone could help me out in finding a place to get them chromed.

I saw the mount last night and it looks darn near identical to OEM-- very impressive work.

It looks really good. If I hadn't already scrounged up one from a salvage yard I'd be jumping on this!

well thank you!!  that was actually a mistake!  my welding got screwed up and i used a grinder to atleast smooth it out!!  if you look close you'll see some weld pitting on the metal.  i could have added some "bondo" to fill the holes but if i were to get it chromed it would have to be all metal.  i guess i could make one for the radio "left" side, but i got pretty stressed out with doing the CB side!!   the final mount was my third, and i was getting quite "pissy" over it!!
