If you have not registered here is the link to sign-up:

Also, please remember to send me your email address to that I can send you additional information (restaurants, points of interest, maps, etc.) of the local area:  flatbusted@hotmail.com  You can expect I should be getting these out soon!  (I am running a little behind).
I received notification that the Holiday Inn is trying to charge an additional fee for smokers.  This was NOT by design.  I booked a block of rooms; nothing was discussed about smoking or non-smoking.  Hopefully this has been resolved however if you call and they still give you a hard time ask for Lauren Myers-Ridinger.
My last item of business is the Ghost-Voodoo Tour.  We did not have enough interest to get a party bus this year.  So this will be cancelled.
ROMP IN THE SWAMP PLANS (Tentative)
Friday Ride-In:  Mixer at Mike Anderson’s on the Patio Lounge.  (This is located at the Holiday Inn).
Saturday 9:30am – 3:30pm:  Meet in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn and ride Highway 22 to Mandeville and then Highway 59 to Abita Springs.  Lunch will be at the Brew Pub.  The ride back will be you up and over to Highway 40 and then down Highway 63 (complete details to be emailed).  If there are any sites of interest on this route that you would like to see, please let us know either by posting or email.
Saturday 6:30pm - ???:  Dinner & the costume party at the Reis Neighborhood (6 miles from the hotel).  We have made arrangements for a passenger van to transport anyone wanting to drink and not drive to commute back and forth from the hotels.  The first trip will start at 5:30pm.  If you decide to ride your bike and need a ride back (because you had too much fun – that’s ok!  We will get you back to your bike on Sunday).  Oh!  And yes there will be prizes for the costume party!!!
Sunday:  You can come drink a good cup of Community Coffee and have beignets with us or just roll-out.  We are just happy you came to visit us in the swamps and hope y’all will come back.

two other things. i'm coming in late Thursday night. If you come in THURSDAY...before the block (of rooms for the event)...it is MORE $$$ for your room....but just a little more than the block rate for the event. also, they will NOT guarantee you will not have to move rooms from Thursday to friday...into the "block" of rooms..but they will work with you.....which is important to ME....because....

THE OTHER THING....is i am bringing all the DJ equipment and WE WILL HAVE TUNES at the party Saturday. So bring your dancing shoes, as The Redneck DJ will be about...............for this Halloween Bash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
