I have been taking care of all my maintenance myself by following the great advice on these boards. Now unfortunately, I feel I must pass off some recent issues to someone more qualified. I have a leaking fork seal (tried the film trick) and have read many posts but don't feel up to tackling a carb synch(just not that mechanically inclined). Is there any independent or even dealer affiliated mechanics that someone can recommend in the Albuquerque area?

Absolutely there is a GREAT mechanic just off Menaul on Vermont, I think.

It is M&M and the owner is Mike Sena.  He has always worked on our Valks and I won't let ANYONE else touch them.  Here is his phone number  261-7190  You can call and usually get an apt. within the same week.

Best of luck, Kathryn Camarena AKA Dragonryder2
