Just finished installing chrome dragon fork protectors. I haven't sworn that much in years. I have small hands and fairly dextrous fingers, but I needed hands about 1/2 the size of mine and double-jointed fingers. Sumbitch.

But, all's well that ends well. They're on there and I think they look good.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

be careful when you're washing your bike...they look like hand shredders.

They're nice.

When installing my Kewl Metal chrome fork protectors (which resemble your's, by the way), I quickly learned that it's easiest just to take the front fender off.  Until realizing this - I, too, recall using some pretty creative language.  Terry

Mine are Kewl Metal, too. I just happened to purchase them through Valkyrie Bling and More at InZane X this past summer.

I thought about taking off the fender, but figured I'd still have the opportunity to swear just as much trying to get the nuts put back on the underside of the brake line holders. Also would have given me even more opportunity to further scratch up or otherwise wreck the paint on the fender.  tickedoff uglystupid2

Yeah remove the fender makes it much easier.  Yes they are rough on the hands if you get a little overzealous, really bad on the rag though.
