We're ready to ride.....Tracy got her steering rebuilt and then just for fun she rebuilt her front calibers..  Grin so we're set to go... we are going to send Dana some snow shovels just to make sure he can get out...woke him up last night, he was all tucked in under the covers, no electric or heat but he's ready...I haven't eaten in 3 days don't want to show up with no appetite...we're stopping over nite at Sweet Tea's and Punishers, so far we have 5  bikes riding with us...Smokinjoe, Tom, Wimpy, and Trace and I....save space in that Toy Hauler Bandit we'll be there.. Wow Bandit!!!!!
That's some smeller ya got there!!!!
My son, and a couple of his friends.... boys that pretty much grew up here at the house, came by and helped me get the last pieces of trim up on the roof.
Fired up the pit and cooked some spare ribs!!!!!! Man they turned out Good!!!!!
The pit is working BETTER than ever!
Since I put the cover over the pit, I had to put a new, taller stack on it to clear the roof.  The original stack was 10 inch... 3 1/2 ft tall....The new stack is 8 inch... couldn't find any 10" pipe.. kinda rare.... but it is 7 1/2 ft tall and draws REAL well.  The extra rise REALLY increased the draw on the pit!  Brings the heat to the far end a lot better.....but now the pit is over 14 ft tall.... hope I never have to move it!!! LOL
Can't Wait!!!!!!
Woo Hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go this morning to order the briskets.
Headcount this am is at 150 for Saturday, 70 for Friday!!!!!
I ALWAYS cook extra briskets... by about 10%....
Sure don't want folks riding all this way, and run out of food!!!!! LOL
Besides, it won't go bad,... vac pack it and put it in the freezer!

Most folks figger 1 lb of meat (uncooked) per person when ordering meat for a Q.....
but I have found with this bunch, 2lbs per person is a LOT closer to what is eaten....Got some CHOWHOUNDS coming!!! cooldude
