Two weeks ago today my friend Lucky 13 ( Gordon ) totaled his beautiful black Interstate up on The Cherohala Skyline in a nasty high-side....Yesterday he went down just outside of Nashville and bought this one. This bike is as near mint as you will find on a 10 year old bike...Scale of 1 to 10 ...It's a 9 3/4  easy  cooldude He has all the needed chrome to really dress it up from his wreaked bike. This one has 24,000 miles and the pegs have never touched the asphalt...That is all about to change for those poor mint condition pegs.

I can say that it is almost as clean as any I have seen.

Should be put in a museum for Valkyries ,but alas it will be road hard and washed about 300 times

over the next few years and that brand new patina will be worn off.

Ride on Lucky 13.

AL

PS Sandy my wife says it needs some of those accent lights like my ole Black One has underneath.

For night rides.

Love that color combo.  I couldn't find it when I bought my last one...   But Red and Black is fastest!...   Grin

Nice!!

Very cool.  I like those too.  Don't care for the green and tan ones that much... even though I have one.  I hope to get mine painted someday... we'll see.  It'll stay stock green but with a different accent, and pattern.

Way to go Gordon.  I am glad you found one you like.  I am also glad you upgraded from boring black.  Evil Evil

Ride safe folks!

Does that mean he'll be up front on the FCR so everyone can droll over it being so purty.  Tell Gordon not to park it too close to the Big Red Land Elephant because the dirt and grime will creep over and force it to assymelate to the "Borg".

Good looking Valk.  I'll see it in person at the FCR.

OBTW, I did make an attempt to clean my rims.  They actually look like aluminum, and I added some polish to the plastic. Scary!

Great looking Interstate there Gordon!

Glad you bounced back (literally?) so quick from your accident, and you're about to start a new chapter
of riding,  on your new to you, Interstate.

Can't wait to see the finished product after you Bling it up with your old pieces from your wrecked bike.

Be safe and happy on your new ride!  cooldude

It will look a lot different when you're finished though.  I can't wait to see it after you get all the chrome on it.  One more thing that came out of this.......we know that Smokin Joe ain't sellin his Interstate or you would have made a deal on that one.  Grin

Joe,
As nice as that offer is, I am lucky right now to even get the time off to come to FCR. So I'll see you Friday night and hope that I get a little more time to clean them wheels some more.  At least I got the rusty speaker covers replaced and new rubber installed.
