Until recently I was the only Valkyrie rider in Amvets riders group that I belong to. Now one of our older members a relitivly small gentelmen has purchased a 97 trike, He was expressing to me that he was having a very hard time moving the bike around. And asked if there was any was to install a reverse like some of the 1500 wings had. I told him I would ask. But I had not heard of any one adding reverse. Anyone have any info on this?

It is not possible to do.  At least without spending bucho bucks. Been kicked around a lot, but I have never seen a solution to it.

As it is a trike there may be some possibilities.

In the UK bike engined 'kit cars' are very popular. As a result there are several conversion boxes that are available that mount after the bike gearbox and before the differential. One of these could well be a possibility but the costs may be off putting. IIRC it is about $450-500 for the reverse box and then you would need 2 bespoke propshafts. Depends how much he wants reverse. Wink

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.
