Public school kids visit Mosque??? WTH???

After reading several news accounts of this incident, I found out that the students in that social studies class are taking preauthorized field trips to several places of worship, including a synagogue, mosque, a Hindu representative, and a gospel music performance.  The video appears to demonize the mosque visit by suggesting that specific students were asked to participate.  The news reports say the students asked if they could join, and were permitted.  The video continues with unsubstantiated evidence from an anonymous “mom” that supposedly attended the event and did research on this mosque.  This “mom” is apparently suing the school district over the incident.

Overall, this appears to be an anti-Islam propaganda piece that includes snippets of a camera phone video, possibly out of context.

I kind of thought the same but with the mom sueing it will all come out in the end so I guess I don't know why she would persue it if she did not have a case? Just don't get that part.   ???

From what I gather from other news sources, the Americans for Peace and Tolerance (www.peaceandtolerance.org) has been against this particular mosque since before it was built.  It appears that this video was made specifically for them by this anonymous “mom”.  I’m guessing the lawsuit is an offshoot of the fight against this mosque.  Anyone can bring suit for almost any reason, and many are done as a nuisance against the defendant.  Maybe this suit is just that.
