You know what he is saying.  He is saying Muslims are typically less tolerant and react more negatively to perceived slights to their religion than do Christians. And if you deny that reality you are simply blinded by your ideology.

REALLY?!

I suggest you announce a public Bible burning in one of our fine Southern states if you want to get a lesson about intolerance…

There wouldn't be riots in foreign countries over the mere threat to do so, now would there.

If you think the reaction to that would be the same reaction as to burning the Koran in a muslim country, you are beyond help.

"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them."

The above warning is from a Muslim website based in New York.  It is in effect an evaluation of Muslim tolerance offered by Muslims.  What had Matt & Trey done to earn this "warning"?  As the creators of South Park they had depicted a bear suit which Mohamed was supposedly wearing.  I repeat, they had NOT depicted Mohamed just a bear suit. For this "insult" the website believed they would likely be stabbed and have their throats cut just as Van Gogh.

Then just to be helpful, the site listed the address of the South Park offices.

Now tell me Bobbo, if Christ was in the bear suit would  Matt and Trey's "reality" be the same.

Your argument is invalid, since the dogma for Christianity is different than Islam.  Religious fanatics abound in both of these sister religions.  You only have to read the news to find Christians threatening death and murdering doctors, as well as Muslims threatening and killing over their dogma.

Since this discussion is hypothetical, why don’t you hold a well advertised Bible burning, complete with an effigy of Jesus, in the heart of the Bible belt?  Care to make a bet if you would make it out alive?

So....Tell me about all this Violence Jesus speaks of ? Jesus was constantly Denouncing Mans PRIDE! If Man would listen and Understand Jesus Teaching the World would be a Better place! One of his Own Disciple's Sold him OUT and what part of this do you NOT UNDERSTAND....MAN ?  You speak utter Nonsense. To compare what Jesus was all about and compare it to the Quran just shows your Ignornce! of the most Humble person that ever Walked this Earth. The Religious Leaders of His Time Put Him to Death for the same reasons as YOU!

So you are saying one's dogma justifies their behavior?  You just confirmed my point.  Their "dogma" justifies, mass murder, suicide bombings, killing of innocents, honor killing, sexual mutilation, stoning, physical mutilation and a host of other barbaric acts.  Their "dogma" IS the problem!

Furthermore Christian fanatics will sometimes kill abortion doctors.  Muslim fanatics will sometimes kill cartoonists.  Are you making a moral equivalency?

Below is a link that will lead you too, among other things, a list of 40 or so acts of violence perpetrated in the name of Islam since 2003 (compiled by the U.S. state dept).  Thousands of people killed in the name of Islamic "dogma".  Please provide me with a corresponding list for Christian fanatics.

Your response is "invalid" since much of it falls out of the 2003 to present date range.  Plus your body count is way down.

I just love it when progressives defend barbarism at the alter of political correctness!!!!!!! Evil

Not only is the correlation WEAK at best.  But you actually resort to using Wikipedia as a "FACTUAL" source. Wikipedia is the most nortoriously inaccurate source of information on the web.

The bottom line here is you have made no "Bones" about your HATRED for Christians.

If that's what you're about then so be it. No-one is trying to convert you.

But, to insist that the acts of people hundreds of years ago justifies what Islamic Terrorist are doing in the world today just doesn't hold water.

Yes, there are some people that do things in the name of Christianity that aren't Christian (those IDIOTS at Westboro Baptist in Kansas are a prime example). The difference is that when they do these things mainstream Christians are quick to Denounce them.

When Islamic terrorist bomb a school or a hospital, Mainstream Muslims say NOTHING, and that is the difference.
