What's a fair price for a set of  stock shocks for an I/S.  Took them off at about 5000 miles.  Someone is interested in them and I really don't know what they are worth.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I paid $75 for a set but they had a few dings in the tops.  Evil

Hey Steve,  I'd say $75 - $100 would be fair.  That is if they are clean, with no blemishes...

A couple months ago I bought a set of I/S shocks with about 100 miles on them for $165 off of eBay.
Still had the brand new bushings insides them and without a blemish.  I believe you could ask $150 unless it is a friend you are selling to.

What I use for a price indicator is, what would I be willing to pay for the item if I was buying it?

My last set of shocks off of MGM went to a guy in Michigan for the cost of the postage.........        He needed em, and I didn't...

Depends on your mood I guess.....

I personally wouldn't give over $50 or $60 for them, basically after 6,000 miles they are toast anyway.  At that mileage and very few times was MGM 2 up, they were setting on '5' and bottoming out.

The ones I currently have are setting on '3' and have over 100,000 miles on em.   They are Progressive, don't remember the size or # of them now, been too long ago since I put em on.
