Well I have bought a 2002 Valk Standard, Black with Red Stripes, if it is as described! It is in Texas and I will driving down on the 14th to look at and bring it home. I can't wait to do some serious riding on it and just in time for some great fall riding weather!

Thanks, when I first read your post I thought that Honda woke up and decided to start making the Valkyrie again!!! Here to find out, you just went and bought an eight year old, used bike!!

Heh heh; pretty mean of me wasn't it? For an eight year old bike it will be NEW to me and I hope to catch a lot of wind with it in the years to come. At 63 there a lot more years behind me than in front and I hope to spend as many as possible on this wonderful bike I have been introduced to. Hope to see you guys on the road and maybe share some rides together!

Alph, At 63 this will be my last bike; and hopefully, my best! I told my wife last night that I hope to be riding until the day I die. Riding does help keep you fit. I think it is great anti aging therapy!

This one belongs to my nephew in Kingston ( just down the road from you ) you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one.He's asking $7,000.00 however I can get you a better deal than that It has 17,900 He has windshield and the stock handlebars that go with it.  I've also got a line on a nice Interstate less than 2 hours from Knoxville ( McCaysville, Georgia ) Corbin side covers...Mark T 5 inch exhaust with cross-over and removeable silencer's....Utopia backrest...Cobra passenger floorboards...Show Chrome front brake covers...Fender bumper...Chrome fender extender's ....Goldwing " Wing " on trunk with brake light...Lamonster risers...Kuryakyn chrome transmisson and starter covers...Nice Kuryakyn highway pegs...Saddlebag racks...Saddlebag rails ( Not Hondaline )...Brand new E-3 front and rear with less than 600 miles...Just serviced ready for the road. Bernie, bite your lip. I said that to my wife when I bought my Valk several years ago. That women has not forgotten that statement, much to my sorrow.  Every time I look at another bike she repeats what I said.  "MY LAST BIKE" is kinda final , don`t you think ?  Don. |

Don, Looks like I might have made a mistake telling her that! I do plan to keep this one as long as I can ride. When you manage to get a Classic you need to hang on to it and enjoy it.
