Sure does look like fun.    I tried to check out their website and it doesn't look like it has been updated in a few years 06/07 I guess.  http://www.snow-hawk.com/home.aspx    One of those would have been nice to have around last year with all the snow we had around here.

The only problem with having one of those, is the riding season is even shorter than bike season.... and would require a whole new set of riding gear, protective / warm clothing.  I didn't notice any chrome farkle accessories for it either (just painted tin/plastic kits).  I would like to try to rent one at a local ski resort tho.....  might have to check that out and see if they are available.

Looks like it would be fun on trails and other hard pack areas but I don't think it would be worth a damn in powder type snow, or out on a frozen lake.

dunno, looked like it was doing quite well in powder at least a foot deep. Looks cool, but I think I'd rather have a regular sled.

My boss is a big winter / sled fanatic. He had one of these for a couple seasons. The thing looked awesome. It looked like a converted dirt bike. He said it was great in 1 or 2 inches of fresh snow, but on ice it was hard to go where you wanted it to and in deep snow it would only want to plow.

These were pretty cool too. They were made for Chrysler, and were designed so you could take them apart and haul them in your trunk. There is quite the following, and there are a couple people who are re-furbishing them and sell them quite reasonable.

Hate to tell you , but the SNOHawk went out of production in 2008... it was a good idea, but was a pain in the ass to ride and took some practice to even ride.. I worked for a dealer that decided to try and sell them. I have been a snowmobiler since the age of 12 and started riding motorcycles even earlier. (Dad wouldn't let us ride until we could pick it up or dig it out by ourself!)

It wouldn't go in the deep snow, was underpowered, and a pain in the ass to pick up and get going again. Plus it was easy to wipe out on...... Angry. Also hard to trailer and get to the place to ride. You almost always had to have some one to help you.

I tried/rode it many times and when it worked, it was a great ride, but that was few and far between.
