Ride-in on friday evening Oct.15 for the pre-ride firepit party at ground zero The Phillips Motel ...290 Main Street,Robbinsville, North Carolina. Saturday Oct.16 we'll ride into the mountains to check out the fantastic roads and scenic mountain views this area offers .The maples and poplars are already in fall color scheme and we should hit near peak  cooldude .Keep in mind we will be in the mountains so correct riding gear will be in order this is I believe the 8th year we've had this ride and I've rode in everything from a t-shirt to heavy cold weather gear. Last year was by far the worse weather we've had on this ride over the years with rain, wind and cold temps so I'm hoping we've paid the dues and will have beautiful cool fall weather this year with nothing but blue sky's and dry roads  Smiley After the ride we will return to Robbinsville for supper and the post ride firepit party ( I talked to Miss Reba and she did order us a couple loads of firewood ) .Ground zero is " Sold Out " however the list below will give you information on a couple more motel accommodation's .Looking forward to this ride as I do every year we have some outstanding folks come join us year after year on this ride  cooldude Again just a reminder we will be in the mountains so bring gear to keep you warm if needed. Another reminder is Robbinsville is " DRY " so anything you want to drink ( adult beverage ) you must bring with you....Bring It...LET'S RIDE  Smiley

I am looking forward to this ride. This will be my first FCR and I can't wait. My In-laws will be coming with is on their new Tri-Glide. Also, I mentioned to my parents that we're going and now they are coming in their cage to follow along. Hope that is cool, but knowing this group, I don't have any doubts it will be fine. Works well for us too. We can bring all the gear we may or may not need and don't have to pack it on the bike!!  cooldude

Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new folks.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!

Did I say, I can't wait!!!  Grin

Werner - maybe it is time to start planning for 2011.  Smiley Chances are good (correct if I am wrong Joe) that the ride will be October 14 -16, 2011.
