Where'd old times go?

Frisco, TX

« on: October 03, 2010, 05:35:13 PM »

When's the next meeting?  I may have missed the post so please have a re-do!  Smiley

By-the-way, I'm assuming that since Godfire is gone, Ghillie is the new "Pres" and Houdini is the new "VP".

I know that's a lot of assumptions and EVERYBODY knows that 'assumptions are the mother of all screw ups'   Shocked  . .

                         so WHO'S RUNNIN' THIS SHOW . .  REALLY  ?!!   ???

With this group I don't think anybody can really run this show!!! hehe  But we sure do appreciate those who give it their efforts. L

What Doc said.  This outfit seems to have its own inertia and the best you can hope for is to nudge it along some.

The dinner meetings are usually the 2nd Thursday of the month, so we're still almost two weeks out.  Posting will be up soon, I'm sure.

I would like to join ya'll to get some idea of protocal and how to get the E TX thing back alive. I am suppose to have dinner with John from Tyler but just haven't found the time.

Hey Hoghead,
I'm not making fun of you. Everyone is always welcome to the meetings and rides.
The recipe that Captain Speedo  and Rainmaker developed, and that Disco and I followed was KISS.
Keep It Simple Stupid. (not calling anyone stupid here, just an old boy scout saying..... GO TROOP 327!)
Anyhow, since the club started following the Speedo\Rainmaker philosophy things have flourished.
Have meetings.... eat.... discuss what the club wants to do, and do it!..... have rides..go eat..... have wrench party's.. go eat....and have fun and go eat!

Come hang out in DFW whenever you want!
Ride Safe,
Run Safe,
Brother!

Sometimes I call it "keep it simply stupid" The eatin' part is always my favorite at any meeting. The food is already in the planning for my wrench party. Grin

If you're going to Kerrville, I can sit down with you there and have some discussions about this as well.
(Although the Houston chapter takes an even dimmer view of protocol than the DFW chapter does...)
