Does anybody have a copy of the instructions or can tell me where to find them? I just bought a used set with hopefully all the hardware and need to install them.

Also,
With headsets and mikes for passenger and driver plugged in on an I/S, to eliminate "open mike" type communication between them, can the factory PTT for the rider be installed to talk back and forth to the driver in lieu of hearing road noise?

THANKS

Can't help with the first but can with the second.  The IS Intercom system is an open system.  The only way to get rid of most of the road noise is to turn it down and have your passenger talk louder.  If you don't have wind socks on your mics, I would suggest getting them.  They help cut down a lot of wind noise.

Try covering half the mike with a little electrical tape.

PM me your address, and I can mail you a copy of the install instructions.

Also, the Passenger push to talk button is ONLY for the CB.  It allows the passenger to talk on the CB, not just listen to it.  It has NO effect on anything else.

We have had better luck with the background noise by using ear plugs.  Need to turn the volume up a little more, but do not hear the noise as much.

Scott in OK:

I, and I am sure others, have the OEM instructions for add ons that are NOT on the website.  If we were to mail them to you, can they be added to the page?

I have a number of them that are not on there, they would be archived nicely that way.

I ride with a GWRRA group (used to own a GL1100) and most of them have a small black balloon over the foam pop-filter on the mike. They tell me it works great for wind noise. Looks nice as well.

I have heard of, and tried, the balloon trick.  I may be doing it wrong, but I can never talk that way.  It does take out the noise, but it also takes out my voice!
