He might be calm when not motorcycle racing.

I suspect that a lot of US were a little like that kid when we were 7.  ANd probably wouldv'e been worse if we had parents that bought us a dirtbike, and took us to the races.

I agree, looks like he was the leader of the pack. Several years ago I went to a off road in Jackson,Ky. All the riders were about 12 - 16 years old. Man, all guts and no brains. I came away thinking that I could not ride like that now or ever.  Undecided These kids now days are on the FAST TRACK.  Wink

I had a friend whose son was 8 years old at the time and raced almost every weekend. I saw him race on several occasions and the guts this kid had was scary. The only time he lost was when his his bike messed up or he got disqualified for his actions on the track. He was a mean little sucker, if he couldn't get around you he would go over you. During the time I knew him he suffered various injuries from riding (two broken arms, a broken wrist, and a broken leg). However, he never quit riding and never slowed down, always like a demon on speed. They moved to Arizona and I lost track of him so don't know if he continued to race or not.
