Just watched the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”, and I personally enjoyed it!  most of you know I’m not a big fan of Hollywood, I don’t think they’ve produced a good movie since “Dumb-N-Dumber”!!  But this movie “Slumdog Millionaire” was excellent.  It’s about a guy that gets on an India version of “who wants to be a millionaire” and is suspected of cheating ‘cause he’s an uneducated person from the slums.  Turns out that all the questions are coincidental experiences he had through out his life!!  I won’t give away the movie, just incase you want to rent it!!  but it’s really worth it!!  my daughters picked it out for me to watch.  Good choice girls!!  They also rented “Harold Lloyd” movies for me to watch, those are some good old favorites of mine too!!

I agree with all you had to say in your review.     It was so good, that we watched it a second time in the same weekend.   It definitely deserved the awards it received, something I couldn't say about other "AWARD" winning movies.

Based on what you said, I have had that movie on my external hard drive for awhile.  I am sitting in a hotel room in Cabinda, Angola, Africa and all (AND I DO MEAN ALL) the channels are either french or portuguese.  So, I have been stretching out the few movies I have with me - I mean last time here, I watched I Robot 4 times and even watched Iron Man 3 times.  Well, after you posted, I figured I would watch it last night and you are right - A GREAT MOVIE!!!  Well directed and acted with a great story.

To finish it last night required that I sit here at my PC until 1 in the morning - which I did.  I couldn't turn it off until the end.
