The good news is that this jackass won't be terrorizing the roads for mch longer. The bad news is that he might take out a pedestrian as he ends his career of stupidity. At the least, he will probably cause property damage.

I wish I had the skills necessary to replace the view of the R1 fairing with the one from an I/S.  Now THAT would freak some people out!

I'm pretty sure he went through some gaps that an IS wouldn't fit through, irregardless of rider skill.

My point exactly.

I just realized my post was vague.  When I said "skill", I was referring to video-editing skill - not riding skill.  I would like to photo-shop a pic of an I/S fairing into that same video clip.  I have no desire to yet again prove what an idiot I can be by riding in a similar manner on my I/S.  No sir.  No thank you.

Maybe not that fast, far, or crazy, but I had a similar cross-town jaunt in '86 on my 600 Ninja avoiding a thunderstorm in rush hour traffic that led directly to my self-imposed 21-year layoff.  Exhilarating?  Yes.  Insane?  Yes.  I never rode it again.  Parked it, washed it, waxed it, and sold it.
