This summer I was out with a few others rounding a corner,
pavement changed to loose gravel, ohhh, everybody slowed down,
nobody slid, but as we got going again, the guy behind me backed Way off.
Later on when we stopped for a break, he informed me that my car tire threw stones at him, he had to get away from me.

So now I'm looking for some kind of flap, attach to fender or bag guard.
Anybody got ideas and pictures please.

I run a cut down car flap attached to the cross bar between the saddle bags on my tourer.
directline has a neat one w/ a led lamp on it,might upgrade this winter.

If you are worried about stones from a car tire, don't, today we were riding and a

sport bike tire will throw many stones as well.

Not unusual to toss a few from any tire.

I have about 10,000 miles directly behind a bike with a car tire mounted on it and they are no worse

than any other tire.

Some folks you ride with are probably terrified that you will OH MY GOD chip thier paint.

If you want it to be perfect leave it in the garage.

Cause Chips Happen.

Remember , If you follow a Car , they have two of those car tires pointed right at you

and I ain't skeered to ride behind a car, are you?

I don't have a good picture, but I bought a pair of rear flaps for a small pickup, the straight cut, not the fender flare style.    Mounted it to the pipe in the center of the bag guard unit with a 'c' type clamp with a metal inlay to hold it straight down.

The thin black line is the flap.    Seems like it measures 8 X 12", but don't hold me to that.

There is a black shadow under the license plate and behind the trailer ball.  That is the best picture I can come up with on the bike.

The TAZ, part # 580 is the one I got and trimmed down to fit.  Took excess from the top.    There is a slight inward cut (Factory) on mine on one side, but you never see it.
