This horse are a descendant of the Mongolian wild horse, originating in western Norway. The breed has been bred in Northern Europe for over 2000 years. Fjordingen was the Viking horse and was in violation and in raids. The Vikings often used the horse for games/entertainment, where two horses were brought together to fight to the death of one (!). |
