Wadda ya think about this prototype?

http://community.cruisercustomizing.com/_The-Next-Valkyrie-Goldwing-Power-Cruiser/PHOTO/1341294/22960.html

I'd be a lot easier to grease the splines on this model.

I wouldn't give up my I/S for this bike but I would seriously consider making room in the garage for another one.

Chuck

PS. Maxim has a DN-01 on the sales floor; I think they missed another opportunity to get our money with this $15,000 700CC motorcycle.

needs some bags and a windshield and a luggage rack for me.  Smiley  i don't require all the fancy luxuries of a wing, but i need a fully-dressed tourer or you won't catch my serious attention.   crazy2

All the reasons I would keep my I/S and have this bike to play on.

Unless it's sporting about 200 hp you might as well buy one of those ugly V-Max ???. I do like the wheels though Cool. I guess it just doesn't look like a cruiser or a touring bike to me Undecided..

Here is my custom EVO6

http://www.valkyrienorway.com/evo6.html

This is a concept bike and it may not ever see the production stage.
If it does, it may look different.

I remember the RUNE concept bike...

Saw one at the March of Dimes car show last month. My wife said it looks like a snowmobile with wheels. Saw one going down the road the other day. That is exactly what it looked like! Sits low to the road. Not my cup-o-tea.

it does look like a snowmobile.  the parent company of Can-Am is BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) and they make ... snowmobiles.  Smiley
it accelerates like a quad, very torque-y, but corners like a bike.  it's a little odd to drive, but lots of fun!  very forward seating position compared to the valk for your upper body, but comparable in the legs.
it was maybe a wee bit lower than the valk, but not drastically.  rose says the seat height is comparable to her yamaha royal star.  i think it just looks that way because of the wide stance.

To me the Can Am Spyder would fall under the heading of sport trike. We had one ride with us to Uncertain last Sat, It's a sharp looking machine, but looked out of place with all the cruisers. Would fit right in with the sportbike crowd, IMHO...

Now the custom EVO6 I like cooldude..

Could this finally be it?   Shocked  With all the talk about Spyders, T-Rexs, Piaggios, etc, it looks like Honda is jumping into the fray and Killboy has captured a pre-production prototype being piloted through the Dragon's Tail's twisties.  This is going to be so great!
