When I was a young boy, my parents taught me to never do anything that I would be ashamed for them to see, or that I would not do if they were there.

That was good advice then, and it is now!

I also enjoy looking at the human female form, whether clothed or not. But, with the audience the VRCC and this board has, and the "rules of the road" that are plainly posted for all to see, this thread was not proper here. For all of those who need their daily fix of boobs, just "google" that word and you will get more than you have time to view.

Sorry about that spelling on the quote that was made a few posts back, but I was typeing in the blind on my Smart Phone.

When you only need  5 hours of sleep a night and work only a few rotateing part time hours it is not difficult to post throughout the day and part of the night.. at many forums.

When makeing a quote it is best to display the entire quote so the truth can be seen accurately and
when and when mentioning a message that was received the entire message should be given especially the point made in the message, otherwise it is totally and completely deceptive.

A simple Yes would have been fine with me.  I wasn't planning on any argument.  It is well known from the almost 10 years that I have been with the VRCC that the few rule the content of this board. You don't have to justify to me your actions.

I am sad that this thread has disappeared but understand the reason why.

However, I personally find the religious and political threads 'offensive' / 'inappropriate' for a motorcycle board. so maybe they can all be removed too.

IMHO if this board is going to be censored then all posts that aren't about Valkyries ought to be removed. I doubt it will happen though.

And quite frankly,some of that crap is far more offensive, and harmful, than any part of any human body.
I understand the reasoning for pulling the boobie thread and have no complaints. (full disclosure here, I did check it regularly.) But letting the blatant hate rants about how I'm a commie devil worshiper because I voted for Obama continue while worrying about somebody being offended by a pretty woman is well... You know what it is, and self serving and self righteous platitudes don't excuse it.
Nor am I advocating allowing a left wing faction take over and berate republicans as Fascists. If you're truly worried about civility, then here is where you need to start.
If you want to pull the boobies thread for prudish reasons, then I agree that it's you sandbox and you can do what you want.
Claiming some other lofty sounding reason is disingenuous.

"General" is a category under the umbrella of this being a Valk site.  In my opinion, "General" means "non-technical Valk-related posts"...not "Generally anything in the world a member wants to post about".  Granted, this is a narrow interpretation of "General", and moreover just a wish of what I would like the General board to be - not a reflection of what it currently is.

But, that's just me.  To each their own.

Ok.. playing devils advocate here a bit.  Im not invested one way or the other, and I admit, that I looked at the boobie thread and enjoyed it I guess. I didnt participate in it that much after we quit playing the movie star game.  

However, if any one pic wasnt in violation of rules, in a general board, what really is the problem?  1 pic or 100,000 pics, if they dont violate the terms, then I see no problem.   Moderators not having fun really isnt a valid reason IMHO.  Ive been a moderator of a forum in the past and it isnt ever fun to tell the truth.  Its a job.  Perhaps more was censored than I realize by the moderator, but I only recall one picture being pulled because of some camel toe or something.  

The name calling I have seen to me is far worse and much more in need of moderation than pictures of girls in swim wear.
