Don't forget to check the meat on your brake pads.

Made a trip down toDaytona back in June, did all the major before that trip, new tires, complete PM, brake pads (front and rear) differential service, plugs and wire ends, you know, the works. We left on monday morning at 6 am and dealt with extreme heat all the way down, got hung up in a jam in South Carolina and the thermometer said 120, sitting still on the super slab. Finally got there around 8 pm and got checked in, We took off the next morning and rode out to Destination Daytona for the morning and on the way back to the motel after lunch picked up a bolt in the rear tire, talking about bad luck, wheeled into the Honda dealer on US1 and they had a tire, $309 and 50 minutes later, back on the road and enjoying our trip. That dealer is top notch in my book. cooldude
