My Metzler, E3, and Venom all did that after riding superslab two-up. Just get a CT and forget about it!

My Avon looked the same way, and it started delaminating, just like previous ones. I went back to a car tire.   Pressures were right, but, lots of slab riding...  I bet my Goodyear TT won't delaminate.. Grin

looks pretty normal to me.  my avons did that, my dunlops have done that, isn't that just normal for a tire that doesn't see a lot of turning in the twisties???  just goes to prove the guy rides straight all the time.....

That wear proves he's a highway rider, looks normal to me for a MC tire uglystupid2 Every MC tire I've tried will eventually wear similiar to that, mine don't have quite as large "chicken strips" Looks like mostly dust on the contact area from a dirt road???

My Valk came with Dunlops on it, that's all I've replaced it with.  I've tried Metzler, Avon, but seems I've always had a balancing problem so I went back to Dunlop and they last about 9-10,000 miles and I never have had an issue with them other than normal nail in the tire flats.
