And the Federal Government does nothing about the border between Mexico and the U.S.A.
Well, not do nothing, there are plenty of border patrol agents.  It's just not enough.

The Mexican authoritys need to declare total war on the drug lords that are running that area, and request help from the US if they need it.  I can think of a lot of worse uses for our tax money.  Hoser

They must have gotten too close to a deal going down or something. Those guys are ruthless. Sad thing is the US is their biggest customer.

Maybe if more parents here spent as much time teaching their kids right from wrong and how to be decent to one another as they do how to fight and finger point there might be less demand for those creeps' products. It's a complex problem with many factors and the devil's in the details, no doubt. Cry Undecided

Fellow riders,
I live down here on the border. It's worse than you know or hear. Most people don't travel into Mexico anymore. It's very dangerous. Kidnapping and killings are an everyday thing. Don't need to be wealthy or known to be a target. All types are kidnapped and the terror groups find out how much money they can ask for you. Doesn't matter if it's a little or a lot. People are snatched off the streets. Many Mexico police are bought and paid for. In some cases they have no choice, do as they say or your family is tortured and killed. Truck drivers are force to haul drugs into the states or bring money, guns, whatever back. The drug gangs are very sophisticated and connected, seem to know every move plotted against them. Any official tries to organize against these groups and they and there family's are killed. Heads are frequently left for all to see. Mexico is beautiful and has everything, but is also very corrupt in so many ways. So it's not as easy as just stopping it.
