The wifes been wanting a Jeep Scrambler to rebuild for some time now and I think I found a good prospect.

Does anyone know if there is a company/site that deals in jeep parts?  Something like what LMC does for Chevys, GMC, etc...

I have an '82 Scrambler that I don't have the money to finish right now.

Check out http://www.4wd.com/ and http://www.quadratec.com/

These are the two major jeep parts suppliers.  For hard to find OEM parts you can check with http://collinsbrosjeep.com/, they have a soft spot for Scramblers and they are located in Texas.

http://www.pirate4x4.com is an excellent jeep forum and has a great tech section.  If you thin skin, avoid the General Chit Chat forum, they can be a little rough.

PM me if you need any additional information.

Good luck with your build.

My brother told me the difference between 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive.
4 wheel drive gets you stuck further out.
 He was right.

That's funny, and true!!

That brings up a question I have:

If you have a dually truck w/ frt whl drive is it a 4X4? or a 6X6 ??

And on the other hand if you had a dually truck without frt whl drive is it a 4x6?
