The VRCC is putting together a wall calendar for 2011.

I'll go through the pictures that have been sent us over the past year and pick out what I think are the best candidates.  The problem with many of the pictures is that they've been reduced for emailing or online display.  For print quality we can only use the ones that haven't been reduced.

If you have a picture of one or more Valkyries that you're particularly proud of, please send them to us at vrccstaff@gmail.com.  I prefer backgrounds that are not too busy and usually pictures that don't include people.

The best pics will have the Valkyrie prominently displayed, but with some space around it which gives us room to work.

Also we will include events that have been added to the VRCC events list.  Our list for 2011 is quite incomplete.  If you have an event for which you know the 2011 dates, now is the time to get them in.

Sorry, Joe, my friend, but I'm not willing to work that hard and I'm in a time crunch.  Send them and I'll review them with all the others I get.   Smiley

We've gotten several really good pictures that have the Valkyrie either right on the edge of the pic or, in some cases, with a portion cut off.

I'm adding the clarification that the best pics will have the Valkyrie prominently displayed, but with some space around it which gives us some room to work.

Please keep them coming.

(And do get those events in.)

Email them to me, George, in a printable resolution.  I'll consider all entries.

We're getting a bunch of really cool Valkyrie pics, btw.

We're getting some really good pix, so I may not hold this open much longer.

Yours may be precisely the one we're still missing.

Please get your events on the calendar if you already know the 2011 dates.

Nominations are closed.

We have 107 very cool pics from which to choose.

They're so many great pics that some people who submitted excellent photos will be disappointed yo not see theirs on the calendar.  Why can't we have 50 months in 2011?   Undecided

Maybe you could add a "collage" page inside or on the back cover for the bikes that didn't get their own month. Just a thought.

Willow,
Just an idea,,,how about shortlisting, say, the best 30 or 40.Then put them on the site and have a vote for the top 12.
I know it would be extra work for you,but it's just an idea.
