Jesse, our youngest son, is in the air, on his way to Afghanistan. He is supposed to be there for a year. If you are of a mind to, we would appreciate your prayers for him. If not, perhaps you could keep him in your thoughts. On another note, our great -granddaughter, Lil' Mac, now weighs 7lbs 12ozs. She is still on O2, but is at home and doing very good. We went up to see the son on the holiday weekend in NY, and stopped off to see her in PA. It was great to finally get to see her and hold her. She's 4 months old, and is just now the size of a newborn. But she is soooo beautiful. Do I sound a little prejudice? Guess I am. Sorry about being so long winded.

Mike,

Glad to hear your granddaughter is doing well and enjoying being home– nothing like the love of family to speed up the healing process.

We will keep your son and your family in our thoughts as he completes his tour.

Mike, what branch of service is he in?

Will, put his name on the prayer list at the church, so he should get about 70 to 80 prayers each evening.

Thoughts and prayers coming from Iowa as we speak.

Mary, thank you for the thoughts. Lil' Mac is a real miracle, but I think that she will be one tough cookie as she gets older.

RJ, Jesse is in the Army, with the 10th Mountain Division. Please give my thanks to your congregation, and thank you.

Prayers for you & your family, 10th Mountain is awesome, in the truest sense of the word, and so is the tenacity of your great grand daughter.

Only 1% of our nations youth stand up and take the oath. They do that so we can enjoy the freedom we have. Tell your son thank you for his service from Texas. I pray that he returns home safe.
