Livin' the Valk, er, F6B life in Central Florida.

Silver Springs, Florida

« on: October 16, 2010, 07:22:01 PM »

Rode over to Daytona this morning to do the Biketoberfest thing.
Went to Destination Daytona {the Harley dealer} to check out the goings on there. Kim bought a new jacket & a hair tie. Did a little people watching which is always interesting. Got there fairly early & beat most of the crowd.
Took the black 'n silver '99 this time, Kim rode her '98.

Rode down US 1 to the GoldWing/Valkyrie lunch at the Duff's in South Daytona. Did some tire kicking & the usual BS-ing that always goes on!  Grin
Yes that's an ice rink in the background!  Shocked

TJ, Trick Rick, DD & Fred, Bert & Sherrie and some more of the gang.

Rick, John Schmidt, Doug (Tundra} & Kim hamming it up as usual.

After some more tire kicking & lie telling some of us headed over to the Speedway to see what's up there. We met some local Valk riders Shannon & Yvette on their purple & white '97.

Even during a big bike event the work goes on repaving the Daytona International Speedway.
That's on the top of Turn 4.

Headed home from the Speedway as we were all "'Fested out" by about 4:00 in the afternoon.
Great day got to see some old Valk friends & meet a few more!

Hey Fred!!! How 'bout them Gators?????  Grin Grin Grin  Evil

Great job Eddie cooldude I really enjoyed myself. I was going to post my pics here and tag along your thread, but that would be a hijack??? Even if I was there??? Good job getting the Honda sign in the backround of the group photo, didn't even know it was there. Nice meeting Shannon and Yvette, good people cooldude  How about a Brooksvile meet sometime soon ???
