After 13 years of not riding, I got another one. When my son turned 16(1997) I sold my bought new '82 CBX. I did not ride as much and it saved all arguments, no way did he need to ride anything capable of 0-100 in 10 seconds. I started to look at Harleys, then finding out the only one I would accept was a Dyna Sport T, still common but hard to find and at the top of my cash range. I did not want to stop taking showers either.

Then I remembered Honda made a later 6, I looked for a week, found an Orange(to match my tractors!) one with 20K miles, one owner. The color and a six sold me. After riding a few miles, I was glad it was orange, because nothing else was overly impressing me. Then we both rode, then it stood out and took away my thoughts of wanting another '82 X. You all know it handles 2 up effortlessly, even us larger ones. My '82 even with a 1268 engine would keep up thru the hills 2 up, but took all it had. Now I'm doing some mods, it's a keeper !!

As we say on my other forum.... Look what followed my home

I done some of my homework already, it's not the lowest production color, but only 240 were made.

Did I mention it was made 18 miles from my doorstep and a mile from my Dad's ! We can fish on a clear night with the glow from the parking lot, like the sun coming up.
We will be looking for rides/rallies next year and will go to Sturgis next year. We plan on trailering to one of my Allis(tractor)/riding friends and leaving from their farm.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

West Liberty? Hmmm.... Been to Ohio Caverns over there. We like to try and make it every fall over there to ride and see the colors in the hills. We stay in Bellefontaine. Nice area.
Paul & Candy live near you, check the ohio board, they will be on there.

Congrats on the new purchase.  cooldude Look us up if you do head to Sturgis. We make the pilgramage every year.
