Britman leaning hard on the KLR was making tracks after he had to console a Older Lady with

a Shot Gun and a Chiuahua.

The lady said that the infallalble GPS is sending a lot of adventure riders right up her dead end road

as a matter of fact that's how we ended up there.

He talked her out of shooting the whole crew and then we moved on.

OUR Gracious Ride Leader Don did a real good job using his technowonder KLR 650 guiding

us around in the Floura and Fauna of North Carolina.

He came equipped with the lastest Gizmos and free bottled water.

These bikes are fun and with a little carefully applied gear and apparel completely a blast.

Saw this marker that signified this was part of the trail of tears for the Cherokee Nation as the US Government screwed them once again and moved them I believe to Oklahoma.

This is one of the Gaps that was used to route them to the reservation.

Tatham Gap.

While you guys were riding I was making a 1200 mile trip to Michigan and back.  I hauled my NEW to me Black and Chrome Tourer back.  I did manage to get in some ride time in the Toledo area Friday.  Rode beside the MauMee river for miles and miles.  Great road on a great bike.  I rode to the Vet's monument on Clinch mtn today then to work for a couple hours.  This Valk is a dream to ride.  It does everything exceptionally well.  As Smokin Joe said, I must be a chromosexual now.

Hell, I MAY show up on a KLR LOL   Wink

Been looking for a dirt bike for the farm... that one fits the bill and has the added benefit of being able to ride behind you guys... you notice I said behind.... and watch you get held up by old toothless women with shotguns   Evil

Al,

Always entertaining hangin' out with you! You've been dealt some unexpected hands to play, but you always find your way back to your base course. Good on ya!!! Lookin' forward to the next chapter...

Sludge, it was great to meet you! Thanks for the comments about Napper... I happen to agree with you, but a second opinion is always reassuring!!! See ya next time...
