Have looked a pics of other I/S and mine seems to lean a lot more than the ones in the pics. Is there an after market kick stand or an adapter I can buy for the one on the bike now? Thanks

Take a look under your bike and make sure that the kick stand bracket isn't bent/broken.  If it is leaning over that much more, chances are there is damage.  

Just thought of another possibility...has your suspension been changed?

It would lean over farther only if the suspension was raised.  Might be damaged or loose.

You can place a washer or two between the frame and the left side of the backet to lessen the lean some. A little bit will change the angle quite a bit.

Agreed. I've seen damage to the cross member (bent) to which the KS is bolted that results in this situation. Not sure this is the problem but it's worth a look
