check on before riding again.....When I cranked the old girl up on Sunday to head home, I noticed that I had a little exhaust leak on the left pipe where the footpeg is.....I think some JB Weld will take care of that......and it was dripping a little coolant off the left side.....it's probably running down from somewhere near the radiator cap..... Undecided....maybe I just need to tighten some clamps again?......Hmmmmm

I also heard a little periodic "squeaking" coming from under the chrome cover over the alternator..... Sad Sad Sad Sad.....I wonder if the bearing in it is possibly going bad??....I have about 85,000 miles on her now....probably about time to have it rebuilt or swap it out for one already rebuilt from that guy that someone posted the link to on here?......

Then I'm going to check the rear end/splines/U-joint out at the next tire change.....I guess I have to show her a little "Love" since I ran her so hard this past weekend....we ATE up some curves and made a few folks crap their britches... cooldude..(not me)... Cheesy

Thanks Joe.....The last time I checked the alternator output it was working fine.....I think it may be the bearing going bad though....either way, it looks like I'm at about the mileage that a lot of folks were at when they had to replace the brushes.....for piece of mind, I think I'd like to get a rebuilt one from Ken..... cooldude
