Starter Switch, Turn Indicator Switch
«

Been having intermittent problems with the 01 starter switch and turn indicator sw. (60,000 miles) Last night I took apart the starter switch and very carefully memorized where everything went, lot of small parts. Contacts were very corroded. I did what everyone said and cleaned contacts with steel wool and used dielectric grease to go back with. It went perfectly and the button now seems to be acting right, cranks everytime. I have a new switch I bought but think I'll try this and see how it goes.
The starter switch had several small parts too, contacts also looked badly corroded so I did the same proceedure with it and now it works everytime and feels right when you push the button. All went well. Thanks for all the comments on how to do it.
