It's coming next month!! If you're thinking about quitting, go ahead and get
the idea in your head now. I've been smoke free for over 7 years and I'm
lovin' it!! Don't know why they do this around the holidays...too many
stressful situations for most people (family, travel plans, etc) but it is what
it is. If you want to beat the crowd, go ahead and quit now!! You'll love
yourself for it!! (and all that money you save by not buying tobacco, you
can spend for gas money and/or chrome!!!!) cooldude

2 Years ago last April.
Wife still smokes, she's starting to tire of it. I highly reccomend it.
Not "holier than thou".  Like helmets, its a choice and its legal.
Just making it so tough and expensive.
AND I dont think 80% of Doctors smoke Chesterfields anymore.

That's great to hear, Joe.  I was just wondering when I first saw this thread whether you were ready to make another run at it.

I really hope that cute little girl will have a healthy grandpa around well past her high school graduation.

Call me or Lori if you need any encouragement.  It was easy for me, but unfortunately I was only in my twenties.  I think Lori had a tougher time of it.

I've been tobacco free since March 20, 2009, with the exception of the day my daughter got married.  Had one cigar and about half a dozen cigarettes that day (technically, most were probably smoked after midnight, so it would have been the following day).

This thread was my inspiration: http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,1433.0.html
