Nothing beats a 6-pack!

Wish I had a nickle for every time I've heard that!!  Yeah, right...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Those were the first words out of her mouth when she got home from work this evening - and almost tripped over the General Tire Altimax 205-60/16.

It arrived today - although I've seen them on cars, I didn't realize how truly massive it was! But then, I took it across to the shop, and the stock tire ain't no "junior-petite" either.

Can't wait for riding season here in Indiana to be over - total take-down of the rear.

Yee-haw!!!

yoor gonna love that car tire.
not sure if riding season os ever over, just not as many miles and usually 1 up. anything below 60 degrees and i am on my own.
for the spring, its a 2 day ride to visit all of the known valk riders i have mapped for indiana. Hmmmm, something to think about. not sure any would come this way, the only curves are at stop signs.  Grin

At least you have stop signs!! Must be a BIG town!  Grin  Grin  Evil

Don't you get lake effect snow up there? Snow curtails my riding pretty severely.

I ride home from work at 11:30..PM. My riding slows WAYYY down, until hunting season, when the hunters chase them back into the woods. They're still wondering where all the free corn went.

I'll just have to make time for the rear end. I'd rather do it when the weather can get nasty overnight. I may put it off for a bit, yet, but probably not - still warm enough to work in the shop, without a whole bunch of heat on, and yet cool enough, that I can justify not riding.

I don't mind riding down to around 40, but again, riding in the dark, through the deer, on a long, country road...I dunno...

I normally refrain from posting comments in a thread that includes both:

1) "My, honey, it's just so......sooo.......BIG!!!"
and
2) "total take-down of the rear."

However, I will make an exception to provide a photo of my General Altimax after 14,500 miles.
