They push it here at work all the time, esp since we deal with flu pts weekly. I never get it. Not for the gov reasons, but I get sick anyway. Got it bad 2 yrs ago. Was admitted 2 days at the hospital. Made my asthma worse. They ask why dont i get it and I tell them 'i dont get compensated if I get sick and i'm not afraid to die.' If I was scared I wouldnt do have the stupid stuff I do! 

Less then half of our EMS dont get the shot.

They're pushing it here in Central Florida somewhat, told my wife I was sticking to the "normal" dosage for now....mostly because I've not had a bout of flu in decades, long before the shot. I'm always cautious when something "new and wonderful, more effective" comes out, let a few hundred thousand or so test it for me. Then maybe next year if no repercussions are shown in the results. My wife on the other hand will most likely take the higher potency dose. She is on a chemo pill for a blood disorder,  plus some major meds for Parkinson's disease, has been for a quite a few years now, and her immune system isn't up to par. Plus she's lost a major amount of weight, much too thin. As for me, different story.
